How we rank the clinics
Six yes-or-no checks, each one tied to a public page you can open yourself. The same rules for every clinic, including the one that publishes the register.
Each clinic gets one point for each of six public checks: a Ministry of Health authorisation number on HealthTürkiye, dentists named on its website, guarantee periods in writing, implant brands named, its own prices published, and a review record of at least 4.5 stars from 50 or more reviews. Precious Dental, the publisher, is our top pick and is listed first. Every other clinic is ordered by points, then by number of Google reviews.
Why the method has to be checkable
This register is published by Precious Dental, a dental clinic in Antalya. We are in the register ourselves, and we are its top pick. A reader has every reason to be sceptical of a list like that, so we built it from facts you can check without trusting us: the Ministry of Health’s own records, each clinic’s own website and public review counts.
The six checks
- Ministry authorisationListed on HealthTürkiye, the Ministry of Health portal for international patients, with an authorisation number
- Named dentistsThe clinic’s own website names the dentists who treat patients
- Guarantee periods in writingThe website states how long the guarantee lasts, treatment by treatment
- Implant brands namedThe website names the implant brands the clinic places
- Own prices publishedThe website publishes the clinic’s own prices or price ranges
- Review recordAt least 4.5 stars from 50 or more Google or Trustpilot reviews
1. Ministry authorisation
GOV.UK’s travel advice for Turkey points readers to HealthTürkiye, where the Ministry of Health lists approved providers. We search for each clinic there and record the authorisation number, the legal name, the city and the year the register gives as founded. This check is also the entry rule: a clinic that is not on HealthTürkiye is not listed.
2. Named dentists
The point goes to a clinic whose website names the dentists who treat patients. The Oral Health Foundation advises finding out where your dentist trained and is registered; you can only do that if you know who they are.
3. Guarantee periods in writing
We look for periods stated per treatment, such as “implants: lifetime, crowns: five years”. A general promise (“all our work is guaranteed”) or a reference to a manufacturer’s warranty does not earn the point, because neither tells you what the clinic itself will do if something fails.
4. Implant brands named
The point goes to a clinic that names the implant systems it places. A known brand matters later: a UK dentist servicing your implant needs compatible parts.
5. Own prices published
The point goes to a clinic that publishes its own prices or price ranges. A comparison table of UK prices, or “from” prices for other countries, does not count. A clinic that publishes prices lets you compare before the sales call.
6. Review record
At least 4.5 stars from 50 or more reviews on Google or Trustpilot. We record the star rating and the count with the date read. We do not judge whether reviews are genuine, and we do not mine them for complaints; we cannot do either fairly from outside.
How the order is set
- Our top pick first. Precious Dental is listed first on every list that includes it. This is a choice by the publisher, and it is labelled on every list.
- Then by checks verified. Six points is the maximum (seven on a treatment ranking, which adds one treatment-specific check).
- Ties by number of Google reviews. More reviews means a longer public record, not necessarily better dentistry. Clinics without review figures go after those with them.
- Then alphabetically.
Treatment rankings
The treatment rankings use the same six checks plus one more: a written implant guarantee for implants, a written veneer guarantee for veneers and cosmetic work, a written crown guarantee for crowns, and a published full-arch price for All-on-4 and All-on-6.
What the method cannot see
Public sources say nothing about the skill of a particular dentist on a particular day, how a clinic handles problems, or how long its work lasts. A clinic can pass all six checks and still be wrong for you. That is why every clinic page ends with questions to ask in writing, and why the NHS suggests involving a UK dentist in the decision.
A dash in the register means we could not verify something, never that a clinic lacks it. Many good clinics publish little in English.
Corrections
Any clinic, or any reader, can ask us to correct a fact by sending a public source. We update the page and its date. See the corrections policy.
Common questions
Why is Precious Dental always first?
Because it is our top pick, and we publish the register. We say so at the top of every page. It also passes all six checks, so on the method alone it would share the top score with any other clinic that passes all six.
Why not give scores out of ten?
A score out of ten mixes facts with opinion, and you cannot check it. A yes-or-no check with a link to the evidence can be repeated by anyone, which matters more when the publisher is a clinic.
Why do some clinics score low?
Usually because their website is in Turkish only, or does not state guarantee periods or prices. A low score means we could not verify something from outside. It is not a judgement of the dentistry.
Why do some clinics have no review figures?
Our review data source ran out during the October 2026 check, so some clinics outside Istanbul, İzmir and Antalya have no Google figures yet. They do not get the review point until we have read their figures. We will add them at the next check.
How often is the register checked?
Each page shows the date of its check. We aim to re-check every clinic at least every three months, and straight away when a clinic sends a correction.

Ask Precious Dental for a written plan
Send an X-ray or a few photos of your teeth. A dentist will reply with a written plan and an itemised price. No obligation, and you can compare it with any clinic in this register.
