Dental treatments in Turkey
What each common treatment involves, how many trips it usually takes, and what to check at the clinic before you book.
The treatments UK patients most often travel to Turkey for are dental implants, full-mouth implants (All-on-4 and All-on-6), crowns, veneers and teeth whitening. Implants with permanent teeth usually need two trips months apart; veneers and crowns usually one trip of about a week; whitening a single appointment. Whatever the treatment, check the clinic on the Ministry register first.

Common questions
Which treatment needs the most trips?
Implants with permanent teeth. The implants need time to bond with the bone before the final teeth are fitted, so two trips three to six months apart are normal.
Can I have several treatments in one trip?
Often, yes: for example extractions, implants and temporary teeth on the first trip. A dentist can only tell you after seeing an X-ray or scan.
